Ordering & Payment
Any order placed by phone, fax, email, on the web or in person is subject to the following terms and conditions.
All items remain the property of Ship Shape World until payment has been received in full and cleared including any cost of shipping.
All calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
Unless a trading account with full terms has been granted, all items are to be paid for in full before dispatch.
Fabric Colours & Sizing
Whilst every effort is made to reflect actual colours of fabric on our website and litrature, due to the nature of different PC screens and the dying process of fabrics, the exact colour may vary.
Many of our fabrics are dyed and in some conditions it is possible for dye to leak out of fabric, this is more common with dark colours which are more heavily dyed. It is a sensible precaution and normal practice to wash and to check colour fastness of dyed items before use.
All dimensions are approximate and subject to normal manufacturing tolerances. In addition the stretch characteristics of fabrics can vary which can further influence the finished stretch sizes of our ready made sheets. Washing and drying techniques, particularly when too hot, can affect the sizes of bedding.
Custom Items
Custom made items are paid for at the time of ordering. These orders cannot be cancelled once placed without first contacting us. It may be possible to cancel the order if required but only if work done to the time of cancelling is paid for. Any work not completed may be reimbursed.
Delivery
We use a variety of delivery services including but not limited to Royal Mail, Parcel Force, UK Mail, DHL, Tuffnells, TNT and FedEx. Once the delivery has left our premises we are in the hands of the delivery service and we cannot be held liable for problems that they encounter. If the delivery is important please ensure that you order with sufficient margin for potential problems or arrange collections direct.
Returns & Refunds
In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with the goods ordered, they may be returned within 30 days of purchase, and a refund for the cost of goods can be made provided that they are in a resalable condition, i.e. not used, washed marked or otherwise made unattractive to other customers and with original packaging. Please return to the address below with a copy of your receipt stating why they are being returned.
